Motion Control Made Easy!
Brushless Speed Controllers
Anaheim Automation's low-cost Brushless Speed Controllers are available in six series, in printed circuit board or enclosed styles, to cover a wide range of BLDC motors. Offered with input voltage ranges from 10 to 50VDC, or 85 to 135VAC, with maximum power from 75 to 1,500 Watts, and peak current ranges of 5 to 30Amps, these cost-effective Brushless Speed Controllers are a popular choice among OEM and user customers.
MDC050
The low-cost MDC050-050051 is a Brushless Speed Controller designed to drive DC brushless motors at currents of up to 5A (peak) and 50V. The MDC050-050051 is a printed circuit board controller that operates in the basic open-loop configuration, input ranges of 20 - 50 VDC. The controller features over-current (cycle-by-cycle), hall sensor error and under voltage protection, an internal potentiometer to control the maximum phase current allowed into the motor, and an internal potentiometer to control the speed of the motor. An optional external voltage (1.5-4VDC) can be used to control the speed as well.

MDC100
The economical MDC100 series is a Brushless Speed Controller designed to drive DC brushless motors at currents of up to 10A (peak). Model MDC100-012101 has an input range of 10 -15 VDC, while the MDC100-050101 has an input range of 20 - 50 VDC. Using hall sensor feedback, a constant velocity mode can be selected. Packaged in sheet metal enclosures, these controllers feature over-current (cycle-by-cycle), hall sensor error and under voltage protection, an internal potentiometer to control the maximum phase current allowed into the motor, and an internal potentiometer to control the speed of the motor. An optional external potentiometer (10K) or external voltage (0-4VDC) can be used to control the speed as well.

MDC150
The cost-effective MDC150 series is a Brushless Speed Controller designed to drive DC brushless motors at currents of up to 30A (peak). The current limit can be set with an adjustable potentiometer right on the top of the controller. It also features hall sensor feedback and a constant velocity mode so you can overcome occasional torque spikes without slowing down. The MDC150-050301 controller is designed to drive DC brushless motors at currents of up to 30A (peak) and an input range of 20 - 50 VDC, the MDC150-012301 is rated at 30A (peak) with an input range of 10 - 15 VDC, and the MDC150-120151 is rated at 15A (peak) with an input range of 85 - 135VAC. These controllers are protected against over current (cycle-by-cycle or latched), hall sensor error and under voltage. Other inputs to the controller include a run/stop and a motor freewheel input. When using the run/stop input, there are three ramp up/down profiles from standstill to select from. The run/stop input overrides all other inputs into the controller.

MDC151
The MDC151 series is a Brushless Speed Controller designed to drive DC brushless motors at currents of up to 30A (peak). Model MDC151-012301 has an input range of 10 - 15 VDC, while the MDC151-050301 input range is from 20 - 50 VDC. Using hall sensor feedback, a constant velocity mode can be selected. These controllers are protected against over current (cycle-by-cycle or latched), hall sensor error and under voltage. Included on the controller is an internal potentiometer to control the maximum phase current allowed into the motor and an internal potentiometer to control the speed of the motor. An external voltage (0-5VDC) can be used to control the speed as well. The direction of the motor can be preset by the direction control input. Other inputs to the controller include a run/stop and a motor freewheel input. When using the run/stop input, there are three ramp up/down profiles from standstill to select from. The run/stop input overrides all other inputs into the controller.
